WEDDING CAKES

 Our standard wedding cake is a 3-tier cake, layer-on-layer (no columns).  The standard icing is butter cream in a smooth, basket weave, or other simple pattern.
Have your florist provide the flowers and decorate the cake.

Cake upgrades may be requested and we will do our best to comply.  Your planner has a photo album of Jeffrey Miller cakes from which to choose.   If you choose another design, an original color picture or sketch is required.  Our Pastry Chef will be happy to quote a price.

Vanilla Pound-           A traditional favorite, moist and buttery

Chocolate Chip-        Our classic vanilla cake with chocolate chips

Lemon-                     Add poppy seeds for a different texture

Devil’s Food-             An All-American favorite, moist, dark chocolate cake

Carrot Cake-             A classic with grated carrots, walnuts and raisins

Hazelnut-                  Hazelnut sponge cake

Mocha Walnut-          A light chocolate and walnut sponge cake

Marble-                      A delicious swirl of our classic vanilla pound cake and Devil’s food

Non-Standard ($0.50 additional charge per person):

Chocolate Decadence-           Dense and flourless chocolate cake

New York Style Cheesecake- With a graham cracker crust, a real crowd pleaser

Red Velvet-                            Southern classic

Shavings:

Dark or White Chocolate Shavings- Smooth Butter Cream covered with chocolate shavings. ($0.50 additional charge/person)

Fondant:

 

Rolled Fondant-             A smooth rolled sugar icing for a porcelain-like finish

                                                Full Round 3 Tier Cake $100.00

                                                Full Square 3 Tier Cake $150.00

                                                Full Hexagon 3 Tier Cake $125.00

Fondant Band around each layer; $15.00 for each tier

Fondant Cut outs of any sort; $25.00 per tier for circles, squares, hearts or stars no bigger than 2 inches

Fondant Two-loop bow; $15 per bow

Fondant Full-loop bow (more than 2 loops); $25.00 per bow

Reverse Embossed Fondant (pressing a pattern or design into the fondant) $35.00 per tier

 

Stencils:

Taking an image such as a flower and transposing it on to the sides using a pre-made stencil.  The smaller the design, the more difficult it is to achieve. Our Pastry Chef must approve the design before price is quoted. The range is between $100 and $400.

Butter Cream Piping:

Elaborate Piping of Butter Cream (Using mini dots to achieve a pattern such as a star burst pattern using a series of mini dots); $40.00 per layer

Scroll Work with Butter cream (Making a swirl-like pattern on the walls of the cake); $20 per tier

 

Monograms:

Painted in Chocolate on an oval chocolate base; $45.00 each

Piped with Butter Cream directly on the wall of the cake; No Charge

 

Additional Tiers:

Additional tiers iced with butter cream; $30.00 each

Additional tiers iced with Fondant; $50.00 each.

 

Real Fruit:

Using real fruit such as Strawberries, lady apples or grapes will be priced at Market value and are based on Seasonal availability.  Please check with the Pastry Chef on pricing and availability.

Quilting:

Quilted Butter cream; $25.00 per tier

Quilted Fondant; $25.00 per tier

 

Tier Separations:

To put a 2 ½ inch separation between each layer; $20.00 per separation.

                                                (A separated cake must remain in the same location.  It cannot be moved.)

 

Gum Paste/ Sugar Flowers:

Gum pasted or sugar flowers will be priced at market value and are based on availability.  Please check with the Pastry Chef on pricing and availability. The charge for approximately 25 flowers is about $50.00. 

Silver, Square Cake Stand:

Rental of silver square cake stand for a round cake; $75.00 (square cakes take priority, please check with Pastry Chef for availability.)

 

 Cup Cakes:

Cup Cakes are offered in the same flavors as our Standard Wedding Cake flavors.

                                                To offer multiple flavors, please add .50 per person per additional flavor.

Rental of our 4 tier cup cake stand; 150.00

 

Edible Glitter:

Edible glitter is $10.00 per tier

 

Dragees:

Small dragees: (gold) $10.00 per tier (silver) $5.00 per tier

Large dragees: (gold) $20.00 per tier (silver) $10.00 per tier
